Eager to immerse in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, Pigeons Nest welcomed us with warmth and comfort. The engaging owner, Prince, ensured our stay was impeccable, offering us a tastefully furnished room with a breathtaking mountain view. The en-suite bathroom with hot-water showers and large windows added to the charm. The free WiFi and cozy fireplace made our evenings delightful. While slightly out of town, the peacefulness allowed for a great night's sleep. The helpful staff organized a tuktuk to meet us at the railway station, showcasing their impeccable service. Their attention to detail, such as providing a hand-drawn map for exploring nearby attractions, truly enhanced our experience. The communal lounge area with a TV, fireplace, and kitchenette allowed us to unwind comfortably. The option for authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and the possibility of organizing barbeques added a touch of local charm to our stay. Situated just a short drive from Gregory Lake SPB, the location was convenient for exploring the area.In essence, Pigeons Nest offered a perfect blend of tranquility and comfort, making it an ideal choice for a peaceful retreat in Nuwara Eliya.
